attending metrocon for the weekend. my sister is finally getting involved with the convention on her own and i want to support her! i just saw her fire show routine this evening. ZOMG! best fan routine i’ve seen!!! all the other ones tend to be stiff and boring. this one had buzzsaws off the wazoo! marvellous!
and kai met the man that she will be arranged marriage to! xD
they got along well. both have never seen another baby their age before. the little man on the right’s name is eric. he is the son of our old cast mate JC Collins and his girlfriend Jessica (who i actually knew from when i worked at teavana. xD) eric is four days older than DK so jc and jessica said that the two were destined to be together and that we should just sign the marriage papers now. xD these kids are so cute!
ahh! and i got back to tablet drawing! that damn thing is so hard to draw on!! and i suck at drawing with paper to begin with! well, enjoy!

today is my little sister’s birthday. ok. she’s not my actual sister, but seeing as how we grew up together, she pretty much should be. she’s actually my first cousin. terra turns 16 today. HOLY CRAP! it’s so crazy. i can seriously tell you all about the very first time i saw her right after she was born. uhhh that little ray of sunshine!! she brightened up my life the moment she looked at me. AWWW!!! lol. if she read this, she’d probably be weirded out by my talking about her as a baby, but hey! she was effin’ cute!! *squeezes baby terra*

on the topic of family, my other first cousin, terra’s baby brother, bonki (or fernando, whatever..) is having his baptism! it will be on the 6th of february. i’m so bummed because i won’t be able to make it! several reasons but mainly work and health. uhhh…. i hope i get to see him soon though! and he needs to meet his new playmate! i miss the little guy. like terra, he is my ray of sunshine. oh man. those two are just the lights of up life! eeee!!!! i love them!! <333 my older sister was able to get off work for a week to fly up to cali to see them. i’m so jealous!!! i want to go. i miss being in cali but most of all i miss my family!!! i actually have been really eager to go to the philippines recently too to see my family there. ;A; i’m so out of luck these days.

update on the fam yet again. dad’s back in the philippines. he should be back sometime early to mid march. he is actually flying into california first then coming back to florida. he’s going to miss my birthday, but that’s ok. after the 21st, birthdays no longer matter. D= he’s already getting a lot of work done there! he’s such a busy and important man there! yet he mainly just plays basketball all day. haha. what a life! he said that the first floor of our laguna house should be done REALLY soon so he’s super excited. the second floor will be built later and the third will be completely further in the future. i wish he brought a camera!

also, i was talking to a few people about this recently. here’s the comic cover that i modelled for!
i guess i can say i “played” Shi (right) for the comic. she was only a guest so there wasn’t much. i think she was featured in two comics and i got to pose for them! so cool! i need to pick up a copy of them one day. i just have been so out of the comic loop the past two or so years! it’s a shame. D; anyway, Elvin Cintron who is the painter for this comic series is actually a good friend of mine and he contacted me personally to do this for him. it required many hours of posing, getting the right lighting and getting the camera at the right angle. haha. it was an awesome experience though. if any of you have this comic, or have picked it up, think of me every time you see Shi. xD

i kinda got into teen titans again recently. by now i’m drifting off again. cartoon network kept playing it so i kept on watching it. haha. but i swear to god, if i have to watch “trouble in tokyo” ONE more time i might explode!!! anyway, because of that i’ve been making my own OCs for it. meh. i’m an OC whore. I DO WHAT I WANT!!
these two are molotov and karma, my lava demon from eastern europe and my cute little crazy alien girl from unnamed-planet-but-species-*totally*-ripped-partially-from-the-asarians-from-mass-effect.
i was so pissed because after finishing up molotov, i realised how much he resembled rock howard. ughhh!! ;A; i should probably change his jacket, but i like it so much! and it’s not ENTIRELY the same… *cries* still happy how the piece came out though. i also did this as an art collab with my friend. she did karma, i just fixed up a few things. i love how she turned out. very icey looking. hehehe.
hopefully i can get back into doing more digital art again. i’ve been doing so much painting that i forget i have an online art portfolio to keep up with. ^^;;;; here’s the piece i’ve been working on since the beginning of november.
i just get so lazy and never find time to get around to it. and it’s all done on tablet too. i’m pretty terrible with drawing on the tablet so i don’t know why i put myself through it. i should just stick to using that thing to colour. anyway, if curiosity strikes, this is my other teen titans OC blood alchemist. she’s pretty much hot shit. when she gets legs, you’ll see! xD
quite a bit of my recent stress has been alleviated. not quite gone, but at least i can take a break. there’s still a lot of REALLY important things i need to do, but i think i will fair ok. daddy just left for the philippines a week ago. he usually goes off there these days so nii-san and i are pretty used to it. but he didn’t call us when he was on his way to japan like he usually does so i was freaking out. and since then i hadn’t even heard if he had landed safely or not. so many things went through my head while worrying about daddy’s whereabouts. i even got sick(er) thinking about what might’ve happened. yes. i was literally worred sick. but he finally gave us a ring today saying he was all right. phew! there goes a lot of stress. also i think i have MOSTLY taking care of all the medicaid crap i have to deal with. i’m hoping all i have to do is just fax the documents they need and i’m done. *happy sigh* feels so good.
because of that, the last few days i’ve been able to hoop again (still VERY sore, but at least i’m not nauseated by slight movement) and i’ve been very artsy. tonight i must’ve hooped about 2 hours put together. it’s easy to do when you watch tv. haha. took a few breaks of course, but it rocked. i’m hoping to tone back up a little. i’ve gained quite a bit of weight since i had gotten sick over a month ago. also been doing a lot of quick sketching and a bit of painting. i can say this because beni never reads my journal. i’ve also been working pretty hard on beni’s birthday painting. not sure if i’m going to be able to finish it in a timely manner, so i’m thinking about saving that piece for christmas and painting him something a little less complex. but i’ve been doing a lot of acrylic painting as well as digital. i also finally got corel painter. it’s pretty hard compared to photoshop, but i’ll get the hang of it eventually. i absolutely LOVE the watercolours!!

FINALLY! i’m back online using a network that my family actually pays for! (we’ve been using public wi-fi and mooching off neighbours…hahaha…) yep. that’s because we’re finally settled in to a permanent (for now) home. before we were all over the place.
so i’m happy. i can finally get back to my normal swing of things like the Bentley Brothers forums, deviantART, wordpress, etc. yoshi! this rocks! speaking of things that rock…

not been feeling really well recently. after the cross-country road trip, i’ve feel like…well…shit. but even before the trip either my uterus, stomach, or bladder kept hurting as well as “the twins”. not to mention the random back pain i get every so often came back for a visit while i was in Morongo. oy.
but since coming back and in addition to those existing pains, i’ve felt really nauseous, dizzy, headachey, and my appetite has been fluctuating more than a strobe light at a rave. i can’t even get through a whole meal without saying “i’m not feeling this anymore”.
i’m considering actually seeing a doctor or something. but i’m thinking after dad goes back to the philippines. he’s got a lot on his mind right now and i don’t want to add to it. i’m kinda worried. maybe because i know someone right now who had a few of the same symptoms and had just been tested positive for a brain tumour. uhh… i’m sure that’s not it, but i NEED to figure this out. i’d ask if anyone of you might know of have a theory on what’s up, but i disable comments. ehhh.. oh well.

i did my first art collaboration in deviantArt! it was pretty cool. i love talking to other artists and such. i’ve already got a few people doing art for me of my SNK original characters. ^^ i can’t wait for those! here’s the first piece i got today.

i came up with a name to call my SNK story! SNK OS! yay! (OS meaning “original story” but it just sounds cool because it’s like Mac OS X. xD lame..)
anyway, i worked on the timeline and a few new character profiles ZeLAnne and Mae Foster who are both minor characters i named after my sister and me. *snort* i also better organised the profiles into i guess “page folders” so it’s easier for me to tell where each character falls into the storyline.
oh man. just remembered no one here can read it unless they have the password. uhh…sorry. ^^; if you REALLY want to read it, just ask me for the password. i might give it to you. i promise it’s really not all that interesting. maybe to beni because he helped with the story (even though the story i am using on these profiles are the ones i made like a year before i introduced the idea to beni…). i guess i’m blogging about it because that what i’ve been doing the past few hours. ahh! there you go. this is legit blogging! i = win!
