doing ok 24/09/2009

quite a bit of my recent stress has been alleviated.  not quite gone, but at least i can take a break.  there’s still a lot of REALLY important things i need to do, but i think i will fair ok.  daddy just left for the philippines a week ago.  he usually goes off there these days so nii-san and i are pretty used to it.  but he didn’t call us when he was on his way to japan like he usually does so i was freaking out.  and since then i hadn’t even heard if he had landed safely or not.  so many things went through my head while worrying about daddy’s whereabouts.  i even got sick(er) thinking about what might’ve happened.  yes.  i was literally worred sick.  but he finally gave us a ring today saying he was all right.  phew!  there goes a lot of stress.  also i think i have MOSTLY taking care of all the medicaid crap i have to deal with.  i’m hoping all i have to do is just fax the documents they need and i’m done.  *happy sigh*  feels so good.

because of that, the last few days i’ve been able to hoop again (still VERY sore, but at least i’m not nauseated by slight movement) and i’ve been very artsy.  tonight i must’ve hooped about 2 hours put together.  it’s easy to do when you watch tv.  haha.  took a few breaks of course, but it rocked.  i’m hoping to tone back up a little.  i’ve gained quite a bit of weight since i had gotten sick over a month ago.  also been doing a lot of quick sketching and a bit of painting.  i can say this because beni never reads my journal.  i’ve also been working pretty hard on beni’s birthday painting.  not sure if i’m going to be able to finish it in a timely manner, so i’m thinking about saving that piece for christmas and painting him something a little less complex.  but i’ve been doing a lot of acrylic painting as well as digital.  i also finally got corel painter.  it’s pretty hard compared to photoshop, but i’ll get the hang of it eventually.  i absolutely LOVE the watercolours!!

well, i’m going to go.  but i’ll leave you off with one digital painting i did.  happy being!

FINALLY!  i’m back online using a network that my family actually pays for!  (we’ve been using public wi-fi and mooching off neighbours…hahaha…)  yep.  that’s because we’re finally settled in to a permanent (for now) home.  before we were all over the place.

so i’m happy.  i can finally get back to my normal swing of things like the Bentley Brothers forums, deviantART, wordpress, etc.  yoshi!  this rocks!  speaking of things that rock…

feeling illz 20/08/2009

not been feeling really well recently.  after the cross-country road trip, i’ve feel like…well…shit.  but even before the trip either my uterus, stomach, or bladder kept hurting as well as “the twins”.  not to mention the random back pain i get every so often came back for a visit while i was in Morongo.  oy.

but since coming back and in addition to those existing pains, i’ve felt really nauseous, dizzy, headachey, and my appetite has been fluctuating more than a strobe light at a rave.  i can’t even get through a whole meal without saying “i’m not feeling this anymore”.

i’m considering actually seeing a doctor or something.  but i’m thinking after dad goes back to the philippines.  he’s got a lot on his mind right now and i don’t want to add to it.  i’m kinda worried.  maybe because i know someone right now who had a few of the same symptoms and had just been tested positive for a brain tumour.  uhh…  i’m sure that’s not it, but i NEED to figure this out.  i’d ask if anyone of you might know of have a theory on what’s up, but i disable comments.  ehhh..  oh well.

on a not so depressing, or whatever, note, here’s a drawing i did of Jacob Riley, beni’s SNK character.  only he’s LITTLE JAKE (little jake, little jake, little jake).  ok.  i think only beni and maybe nii-san might get the “little jake” part…

oh.  and since i mentioned nii-san, here’s a new drawing i did of Mae Foster, the character i named after nii.  =D

i did my first art collaboration in deviantArt!  it was pretty cool.  i love talking to other artists and such.  i’ve already got a few people doing art for me of my SNK original characters.  ^^  i can’t wait for those!  here’s the first piece i got today.

SNK OS 16/07/2009

i came up with a name to call my SNK story!  SNK OS!  yay!  (OS meaning “original story” but it just sounds cool because it’s like Mac OS X.  xD  lame..)

anyway, i worked on the timeline and a few new character profiles ZeLAnne and Mae Foster who are both minor characters i named after my sister and me.  *snort*  i also better organised the profiles into i guess “page folders” so it’s easier for me to tell where each character falls into the storyline.

oh man.  just remembered no one here can read it unless they have the password.  uhh…sorry.  ^^;  if you REALLY want to read it, just ask me for the password.  i might give it to you.  i promise it’s really not all that interesting.  maybe to beni because he helped with the story (even though the story i am using on these profiles are the ones i made like a year before i introduced the idea to beni…).  i guess i’m blogging about it because that what i’ve been doing the past few hours.  ahh!  there you go.  this is legit blogging!  i = win!

well, since you can’t read the profiles, i’ll give you some of the incomplete profile art i have locked away in those pages.  =3

i was drawing a lot earlier, and while doing that, i thought it’d be fun to flesh out some character profiles for a few of my SNK OCs.

wow.  i was stupid.

such a terrible idea.  i seriously must’ve spent over 2 hours on each of the two profiles i got done.  ughh..!  so bad!  anyway, the profiles are both filed under “random facts and pix”.  oh, and they both password protected.  if you REALLY want to read them, i guess you can ask me for the password.  maybe i’ll give it to you, maybe i won’t.  ooo.  now i’m being a bitch.  i require sleep.

yep. if you were a good little girl or boy and watched the vlog, then you heard right. denali is pretty much a pool right now in some parts. crazy, eh? also, it was really sunny yesterday and today, until now. it’s pouring outside again. O_x

finished watching the last few episodes of Vampire Knight today. uhhh… ok… one of the things i hate about anime these days is their length. i remember getting so pissed about Gravitation’s short run. now all anime these days are like that. if they aren’t finished within 13-25 episodes, then they are drawn out WAAAAAY too long for their own good. i.e. Naruto. -_-;; “rawls! this is a plot altering fight! i must drag this out and experience life-changing lessons before i finally discover my TRUE POWER within me and defeat you!!!” *cough* oh anime.

it sucked because i was really getting into it. guess i’ll just have to read the manga. anyone know where i can find Vampire Knight manga? doubt it’s been published in america yet. that’s probably what these short series do. they serve as a teaser for the actual manga. lame-o. we’ll see if it works.

just downloaded a new series. random episodes though. i have yet to find the first one. sucks. anyway, the series is called…wait. hold on. let me try to remember it. ok. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. phew. doesn’t quite roll off the tongue too well. i wonder what that even means. i’ll have to wiki it later. recommended by suzy. (YAYS!) watched episode two. didn’t really like the art style at first, but it grew on me.

i think i want to do a cosplay of that for the soul purpose of dressing up like the female lead so i can make and carry around that gigantic gun she has. xD

anyway, been playing some God Hand the past few days. that game is addicting. it’s a shame there is no hope for a God Hand 2. stupid Clover and your not being a company anymore…! really funny because the main antagonist’s name is Azel. LULZ! and for those who know me in person probably know why i find that funny.

time for KOF characters!  yay!  only this time they aren’t based off anyone.  KOF has so many characters, i thought i’d make up my own.  my character, Jun Tipha, is actually the OC i made up over a year ago when i first got into the game series.  beni character i just made up on the spot.  beni likes giant scarfs and he’s been wearing a lot of white shirts lately when we work out.  bam!

aang!  oh man i was so proud of this one.  i don’t think the photo did the drawing much justice.  i also like how the blue on his head and eyes have a glowy effect.  xD  must’ve been the flash.

lulz!!  i just HAD to put “melons” on there.  too bad katara’s aren’t so big.  xD!!!  drew this one to be a little light-hearted.  i’ve been drawing dramatic scenes from the avatar finale.  since this was the last avatar drawing i was going to do, thought i’d lighten it up.  =3

that’s about it for now.  OH!  just got a package from beni’s dad.  it had a lot of goodies such as candies and video games.  one of the games was KOF 02/03.  yay!  it’s butt-raping fun!!

update flood 24/07/2008

you know when i say the internet is down, i usually mean that it’s so goddamn slow that it takes you 20-sum minutes to load your e-mail. well, the internet was down. and this time, i mean it was DOWN.

i’ve been able to pick up VERY faint signal every here and there (because my wifi receiver ROCKS the HOUSE) so i was able to do things such as delete e-mail and delete spam. but that’s it. so it’s finally back up, or at least it’s tons faster. so here’s my update to catch up.

went to fairbanks on saturday. had a lot of fun. couldn’t make it to the olympics, but that was ok. we DID get to watch the avatar series finale though and order pizza during it, so it was totally awesome. we also got to go to wal-mart and get some goods. forgot a few things, but that’s ok. ONLY TWO MORE MONTHS!!

it’s been freezing again. though my alaskan friends say “oh it’s been so sunny and beautiful!” well, beautiful yes. overcast though. but i guess to them it’s omega sunny. oh alaskans. but because it’s been so cold recently, it started to snow again up in the moutains! and because it is so cloudy and snowy up there, i haven’t been able to take a good picture.

so i decided to draw a sokka inspired picture of the moutains. xD

beni said that igloo looks too cute and good to be “sokka inspired.” but i didn’t have the heart to erase him.

it’s sad because that took me more than 10 minutes to draw… -_- *shame*

speaking of drawings.. let me start on those because it’s really a butt-fuck.

uncharted and alaskan inspired. not like my other drawings, but i thought it had a sense of serenity.

an AU with the theme of Draken–Drakkeng–DAMMIT! i can’t spell it work crap so i’ll just call it it’s original name. an AU with the theme of Drag-On Dragoon. it’s one of the games we bought while up here. pretty good. i asked beni that day what he wanted me to draw, and he said him as Caim and me as Furiae. oh sib-cest. ps: the armour in that game is retarded so i did my best to fix it up a little. failed miserably because it looks the same. xP

probably the best toph drawing i’ve ever done. x3 i love it. this was probably one of my favourite scenes in the finale. if they dragged it out even two second longer i think i would’ve cried.  this one is beni’s favourite too. so he had me laminate it. x3

i think the Tokka in me squeed during this. the whole scene was just dramatic. i loved it. picture wise, i think i did some pretty good shading here. at least in sokka’s face. that was freakishly hard though. xP

oh windy day 16/07/2008

today is so effin’ windy.  beni and i were walking back to the homestead from the stampede when this huge gust of wind literally threw me up off the ground (about an inch or so, but still) and blew me forward.  oh man.  thank god i was holding beni’s hand!  it’s almost like when we first got here.  good lord the wind was strong!

speaking of when we first got here, remember when i would talk about how cold it was an such?  and recently i’ve been saying it’s been hot?  well apparently, by august, the temperature will start to get cold again and nights will be longer!  yay!  and apparently by the end of our stay here, nights will be long enough to HOPEFULLY get a glimpse of the aurora borealis!  EEEE!  i’m so excited!

yesterday i went for a walk by myself (with igloo though!).  took a hellalota pictures.  i might post them up here.  might not.  we’ll see.  as for pictures…here’re the pictures of my drawings the past few days!
