a daddy for easter 13/04/2009

daddy came home!  ok.  never mentioned it here, but daddy went on a random casino trip and disappeared for a few days.  didn’t know when he’d be back.  he showed up this morning.  it was pretty cool.  he took me out for dinner at BJ’s.  yummm..  we even got to take home a few loaves of bread.  uhh.  that bread is heavenly…  oh man.  that just made us sound like poor people.  no.  we ate actual food too!

other than that, we really didn’t do too much.  i wasn’t forced to go to church (thank goodness!), so that made my day.  dad took a nap during the day and i pretty much just sat in front of my computer watching episodes of total drama action (series 2 for total drama island).  yeah.  not as good.  oh wellz.

i consider my easter basket the package that beni sent me.  (i still need to take a snapshot of that…)  LOVED it!  got some peeps to eat, but i never have the heart too.  i mean, they are just SOO effin’ cute!  he also sent me some couplings for me to make hoops.  yay!  he sent a few other goodies too.  even a cute little bunny card!  <333  speaking of bunnies, hope y’all liked the bunnies from the last post.  =;3

daddy and i went to long beach today.  yay!  i’ve been wanting to go since forever and now i finally went.  unfortunately we couldn’t stay long enough for the fun nighttime stuff, but we still enjoyed.  we ate lunch at this one place by a light house.  the food was good and it really filled us up.  so much that even around 11 pm, i still wasn’t hungry.  xD  we walked around the place and tried over and over again to get this one shot.  here’s our attempts.

this would’ve been good if the lighthouse wasn’t blurry and if my index finger was a little bit higher.  eh.

dad took this one for me.  another failed attempt, but damn does the scenery looks AMAZING!

after that we went to the beach and chilled at the fishing pier.  no one was catching anything which was totally bummerific.  but a lot of people netted up some starfish which was badicle.

the pier was a veteran memorial, so there were a lot of name plates scattered around the pier.  i found one that caught my eye.

interesting because my cousin tayler’s last name is wahl.  yeah.  it’s probably a pretty common name, but i’ve personally never seen another wahl.  not even her mom is a wahl anymore!  xD  oh remarriages…  but yeah.  would be cool if this person was tay’s relative.  probably not though.

after all that we drove around carson city.  that place is flipsville so dad had been considering that place to settle.  we finally went there the other day and of course drove around there again today.  i like it.  not sure how i’d like the company of so many filippinos though.  i mean i love my culture and everything, i just have this really awful disdain for flips my age.  D8  oh i’m terrible.

got home, watched some total drama island.  i just started watching that show…yesterday.  xD  it’s fun times.  and gives me something to watch since ben 10 already had its season finale.  D;  anyway, yeah.  fun show.  i’m pretty hooked.  and that izzy chick is pretty much my hero.
